Beverley 4:50 Zaitsev looks too big a price here at 8/1 for the Ollie Pears yard. His last win came here at Beverley last year off a mark of 70 and he has slipped back down to a mark of 69 so he is really well treated if he is back fit. He ran very well for a long way in a race that was much better than this at Newmarket last time out and this represents a drop in class along with the drop in the weights. Ran a good race for a long way last time out but just ran out of petrol, this is only her second race and she might know a bit more about running fast and should be given another chance. 4pm Yarmouth - Green Monkey Another that ran a good race last time out here at Yarmouth and is worth another chance, trip and track suit and should strip fitter today. 7:40 Hamilton - Baron Run A non runner last week at Hamilton and was then meant to run yesterday at Pontefract but that meeting was called off, now trainer Karl Burke puts him back in the horsebox and they make the loan journey from Leyburn with the hope of bagging the feature race, the 4yr old chestnut gelding must be showing form at home that merits the journey North.
