Punchestown 5:30 - Ladbrokes World Series Hurdle(Grade 1) 3m At Fishers Cross has been rather disappointing for me this season but his 2nd behind Whisper last time out at Aintree was still a run full of promise as he ran the race with a loose shoe for the most part. Tony McCoy takes the ride on the Rebecca Curtis horse but if he brings his A-game he won't be far away at the finish. Another horse that may outrun his odds is Sadlers Risk, the former Philip Hobbs horse has finished 3rd in a Grade 1 at Aintree in the past and he was once well fancied for the Triumph Hurdle. It is not known if he still has that ability but he is only having his third run for Henry De Bromhead tomorrow and with the yard in form he could well put in an unexpected big run. Re: National Hunt Racing > Thursday May 1st Punchestown 6:40 - Ryanair Novice Chase(Grade 1) 2m Felix Yonger ran a solid race when 4th in the JLT Chase at the Cheltenham Festival recently and he could well be the lively outsider in the pack on the back of that run. He has work to do to reverse the form behind Trifolium at Leopardstown recently but his run last time out had plenty of promise. I don't back favourites too often. I got stung recently when I went in fairly large on one but I find it hard to see past Champagne Fever personally. He has conditions to suit, he should be fresh and well after a light campaign this season and I am sure Mullins will be really craving this after just getting touched off in the Arkle by a 50/1 shot. I am more than happy to take the 6/4. Champagne Fever - 7 Points WIN @ 6/4 Bet Victor - Register for a £100 Free Bet!
