Poole -7 V Arena Essex + 7 (1) Skybet 1.83 Poole got hammered away at Belle Vue recently, but, this was never one of their best tracks. Ryan Sullivan scored well though, and he has clearly signalled a return to something like his best form. Polish rider Krzysztof is on his best form ever, Bjarne Pedersen, although struggling away from home, is doing ok at home. Antonio Lindback does have a slight injury, but will ride, that leaves Matej Ferjan from the top 5, and his home form is solid. Arena Essex will go into this match knowing that the bonus point is very safe indeed, because they stuffed Poole by 31 points in the first fixture. Ex-Poole rider Tony Rickardsson will line up against his former team mates, and will be looking to do well, Gary Havelock and Roman Povazhny, provide the back-up. Apart from those, they have Paul Hurry and Leigh Lanham! Both sides look weak at reserve, but, Arena's new reserve Piotr Swist could possibly do something. Arena are a very poor away team, and even with Rickardsson, they are hardly likely to win tonight, their middle order looks quite woeful, and it's here that Poole seem to have a big advantage, heats 3,6,9 and 10 look to be heavily in Poole's favour, and if the Pirate's can take full advantage of this, then they will beat this handicap.

Re: Speedway Tonight Result: Poole 55 Arena Essex 40 :ok Regulation stuff from Poole as they crank up their challenge for a third league title. Arena's reserves got the better of the home team's, and Tony Rickardsson was superb, dropping points in just one race, and scoring double points in a tactical ride. But, Poole's top 5 proved to be far too strong for Arena overall.
