Newmarket 4:40 - Weatherbys Hamilton Insurance Earl Of Sefton Stakes(Group 3) (1) 1m1f The form backers will be highly interested in the John Gosden trained Fencing as not only are the stable having a purple patch at the moment but this horse is probably the one to beat according to the book. He made a very nice comeback last time out at Doncaster when he narrowly lost out to Graphic in a Listed race and he should come on for that with that run under his belt. He finished 6th to Farhh in the Lockinge Stakes at Newbury last summer and a reproduction of that sort of form is bound to see him go close. I think the value in the race is the Roger Varian trained Elkaayed personally, 10/1 is too big for a horse than loves this course and the form behind Telescope looks interesting. Re: Flat Racing > Thursday April 17th Newmarket 2:55 - £200,000 Tattersalls Millions 3-y-o Trophy(2) 1m2f Johann Strauss has some very good form in the book and for all he clearly looks the horse to beat, lets not forget this horse is still a maiden and he has to go out and prove he can get his head in front. He disappointed in a Leopardstown maiden behind Fiscal Focus last time out but if he were to reproduce his 2nd to Kingston Hill in the Racing Post Trophy at Doncaster he really should be winning this. I don't like to back short favourites if there are any question marks though and he has a few. The Charlie Appleby trained Sudden Wonder bolted up here over the Rowley Mile last time out and with the yard also in good form he is another that should go well.
