6.10 Wolverhampton Not the worst race for the grade and several in form sorts. Rose Garnet is not the easiest to win with but she does often run her race, she has been in good form the last twice finishing well latest. Runs off same mark today but 1 win from 33 runs says it all and is 5lb above that winning mark. Masked Dance is potentially well handicapped but clearly not as good as he once was, running respectably at Southwell latest behind the revitalised Masai Moon who has since won again. More needed to get back to winning ways. Very First Blade is another that went very close at Southwell last time out, 3lb rise makes things tougher again and always been better round there rather than here. Flow Chart is just simply going through the motions at present. Daneglow won a desperate maiden over 5f around here, running ok in 5f handicaps since has shaped as maybe a step up would suit but he remains one to tread carefully with. It might be worth taking a risk on Renoirs Lady, she has had 3 runs since a break and shaped much better last time out at Lingfield finishing well from a wide draw and position. Draw not been much kinder tonight but she has now dropped another 2lb and to her last winning mark. 1pt e/w Renoirs Lady 12/1 SJ 6.40 Wolverhampton A race lacking much depth and it is only the top 3 that make any interest with the others badly out of form or just shown next to nothing to date. Vertueux was last seen on the flat winning back to back handicaps, returns from a break 2lb higher and never won off a mark this high. Also last seen over jumps in no form what so ever. Tokyo Brown hadn’t always been the most reliable but he has now won back to back handicaps and was made to work last time out which was good to see. Further 3lb higher but in his current mood he could prove hard to beat. But Divea looks worth a chance, not seen since September when shaping well and looking a tad unlucky. He clearly hasn’t been the easiest to train with plenty of breaks but with a yard that can get the best out of these lightly raced sorts. Centurius looks a very short price and a risky proposition, not seen since finishing a respectable 3^rd at York in a decent race off a 1lb higher mark. But does remain with just the one win in a maiden and also untried on this surface. Tepmokea won a claimer in france and should find life tougher back in handicap company. Shamdarley looks high enough in the weights. Similar story with Lord Of The Dance. Tatting has been in great form this winter but has been kept busy and clear signs he was tiring from a busy campaign with a poor run at his beloved Southwell, bounce back required now off another career high mark. Commissar scored comfortably on penultimate start, not so good last time out under a penalty but still good effort under a 5lb claimer, 1lb higher again and claimer not used today but De Sousa a strong booking but a lot more required. Thatchmaster won a fibresand 4 runner maiden on penultimate start, failed to follow that up abysmally again on fibresand, 1lb lower today and worth another try on this surface but clearly questions to answer now. The safest option might be Star Links he has been in great form this winter winning 3 races around here, latest off a mark of 87 on penultimate start under Luke Morris. Never landed a blow off a 6lb higher mark last time out in a much stronger race, 1lb lower today and Morris gets the leg up again and he rarely runs a bad race around here. 2pt win Star Links 7/2 bet365
