Ultimate Warrior, 14:30 Lingfield

Recommended Posts

Had this horse as part of a perm. It was 1-3 on, came 4th in a 5-horse race, behind horses that were 20-1, 6-1 and 7-1, 30 lengths behind the winner!!! The horse wasn't injured. Please can someone explain, how does this even happen - how can tipsters get it so wrong? (I think almost every newspaper tipster backed it today). Is it the fault of the trainer, the jockey...? Or is there a reason to be 'suspicious'? Makes you realise that no matter how good your system is or how sure you are that a horse is going to perform, that racing is to some extent completely random.
