Good day of racing at Fairyhouse yesterday. Two Grade 2's and a couple of other interesting Handicaps. Thanks god the weather was more or less fine, even though the wind was blowing quite heavily. Thought Abbyssial was really impressive defeating a short priced stable mate in the Grade 2 Juvenile Hurdle but liked most the performance of Valmy Baie. Really impressive, approaching the last hard on the bridle. Much more to come from this french gelding. Couple of shots from the day below... Authinger jumps the last & finishes 2nd in the Beginners Chase - the winner Si C'Etait Vrai is miles ahead though Warne and Seabass fighting it out. Burren River is fine after an awful fall. Si C'Etait Vrai - impressive 20l winner of the Beginners Chase Make A Track looked a picture in the parade ring - but was pulled up in the G2 Bobbyjo Chase Davy Russell Six Senses: hopeless in his last starts & pulled up. Hard to believe he finished 2nd in a maiden hurdle to Boston Bob once Ruby on Wicklow Gold Roi Du Mee Beluckyagain Beluckyagain wins the Maiden Hurdle Bobbyjo Chase Quito De La Roque & Make A Track
