Kempton 3:50 - Betbright Chase(HANDICAP) (Grade 3) (1) 3m With Paul Nicholls having three runners in this race including the favourite Bury Parade, he is likely to have a strong chance in the contest. He also runs Grandioso who actually finished a 5 length second to Bury Parade last time out at Ascot so he is no forlorn hope either. The Alan King yard is hitting form at the right form leading up to Cheltenham and his gelding Bless The Wings can't be ruled out at a big price either. He is likely to improve on his 4th to Houblon Des Obeaux at Ascot back in December. The value in the race in my opinion though is the ex-Irish trained Whats Happening who is still lightly raced for this yard and showed plenty of ability across the water. Re: National Hunt Racing > Saturday February 22nd Newcastle 2:55 - Betfred Eider(HANDICAP CHASE) (2) 4m1f The Malcolm Jefferson trained Sun Cloud must have a good chance judged on his last two runs at Hexham and Catterick. He absolutely hosed up by 11 lengths at Catterick over 3m6f and the extra trip should be no problem for the horse but he does have a 12 pound hike in the weights to overcome which will be tough in this ground. Because there are 4 places up for grabs at the moment with 16 runners (that will probably change) I have backed Our Island and Royale Knight who both look well handicapped. They also both look like out and out stayers so they should enjoy conditions tomorrow and I will be surprised if neither of them go very close.
