Re: Sunday Night Poker 9/2/14 Played 12, Cashed (winning a satellite) just 1, down a bit on the night. Hints of strong stack building brilliance at times, a glimmer of hope for possible future return. Far too many frustrated leaky calls though and happily threw a couple of potential min cashes away pushing the bubble limp monkeys around (most fun part of the night). 2,168th/3,944 (1+8) in the lol'ament EPT GF

Re: Sunday Night Poker 9/2/14

and lose every time' date=' no thanks, i prefer good solid players to play against, not donks...........[/quote'] +1 I want to be able to put a player on a range all the time, the narrower the better. Easier done when you've got a solid player who will often play similar types of hands in the same way and give away lots of betting/bet sizing/timing etc tells. You can't always pick up on what a complete novice or gambler is doing because most of the time they haven't a clue what they're doing themselves. Making difficult calls/folds when someone is playing ATC is virtually impossible without a lot of luck. Obviously if you've always got the nuts you want to always be up against a calling station novice, but tournaments don't happen like that.

Re: Sunday Night Poker 9/2/14 I think what Bart & Teaulc , and a lot of others prefer is the more so called 'solid' players however some these players you refer to as better players and the one's you prefer to play against are likely tight passive fish who are easy to play against as you don't have the same risk factor.
