5.30 Wolves - Climaxfortackle 1pt win @ 10/1 BetVictor I think Climaxfortackle is of great interest here dropping in grade. It was no surprise to see this horse completely outpaced last time out over an inadequate 5f under 7 lb claimer Adam Mclean. He only just gets 6f but always does his best work deep in the final furlong. Tomorrow he drops in grade to class 6 and has been dropped a further 3 lbs to a mark of 60. Joe Fanning takes over from Adam Mclean, which is significant as Fanning rode this horse twice around this time last year winning once on him. He managed to win over CD a year ago from a mark of 63 and then again at Kempton off 65. He was unlucky not to win off 68 again over CD and since then hasn't really threatened. I thought he was given a tender ride last time out over 5f and was never ever put into the race behind the easy winner. I think the combination of Fanning in the saddle, a mark of 60, stepping up to 6f and dropping in grade could see this one go very close.

Re: BBOTD Friday 7th 17.00 Wolverhampton: Novabridge @ 7/2 Bet365 Novabridge appeared to be extremely unlucky in his most recent start at Lingfield. He got hampered right after the start, had to settle in rear as a consequence and got then slightly hampered coming around the home turn again, the jockey had to take a pull. The nightmare didn't end here as Novabridge didn't get a clear run approaching the home straight, and when finally a gap opened over 1f out he finished nicely without getting asked for everything. With a clear run he would have gone very close no doubt, and as he gets another pound off the mark he looks to be weighted to win, down to his last AW winning mark too.
