National Hunt Racing > Thursday February 6th

Doncaster 3:00 It is hard to ignore any Venetia Williams horse at the moment given the tremendous form the yard are in at the moment and she has an interesting horse here called Howards Legacy. The horse travelled powerfully over 3m3f at Newbury on soft ground last time out off this same mark of 130 but the trip was too far in my opinion. Now the horse is back to 3 miles on better ground and we should see him to much better effect. The last time he ran over 3 miles was at Leicester and he won that day and he was in good form going into his last run as he finished second over 2m4f at Lingfield. Venetia has had 7 winners from her last 20 runners so the yard is red hot. Howards Legacy WIN @ 13/2 William Hill

Re: National Hunt Racing > Thursday February 6th 1.50 Doncaster Vaniteux 8/11 Paddy Power BOG Having been highly regarded Vaniteux translated that high opinion to the track when winning impressively fto before disappointing in a better race at Kempton over the Christmas. He was heavily backed that day but over the 2 days at Kempton every fancied runner from Henderson's stable was well and truly turned over. Expected him to regain the winning thread here against decent but not outstanding rivals. 10 Points win Vaniteux 8/11 Paddy Power BOG 2.25 Doncaster First Mohican 15/8 Bet365 BOG First Mohican was better on the flat than Electrolyser and even though Electrolyser won well at Plumpton his first run over hurdles at Taunton last season was a shocker. For that reason he is passed over in favour of First Mohican who although making his debut was a group horse on the flat and represents King who has an excellent record here and who has recently re-opened his stable. Expect this one to continue King's resurgance 10 Points win First Mohican 15/8 Bet365 BOG 3.35 Doncaster One Connemara 3/1 Boylesports BOG One Connemara will love the ground and trip and has a great record fresh therefore he has to be given the nod in this weak heat. He won his maiden hurdle exactly a year ago at Ludlow and the 2nd and 3rd have both won impressively this season to boost the form. It all points to another winner for Henderson. 10 Points win One Connemara 3/1 Boylesports BOG
