He was travelling sweetly in the Sefton Chase at Aintree last time out when he fell and if that has not harmed the horse he should be bang there with half a mile to go. He is a smooth traveller, loves heavy ground and gets to run off the same mark as last time out. The mare has been dropped 5 pounds in the handicap to a mark of 95 which seems very lenient in my opinion as she ran an ok race last time out. Her record here at Newcastle reads 7-1-1 from three runs and one of those came on heavy so we know she likes the track and will enjoy the ground. She won a different race on this very card last year so it could be that she goes best this time of year.
