2.25 - Plumpton - The Informant @ 8/1 Paddypower I think The Informant looks interesting starting out over fences, he won a 14f bumper last Boxing Day but has since looked the type to appreciate more of a stamina test. He takes the step up to 26f tomorrow and I think that's just what he needs. He's clearly still an unexposed horse and could be well handicapped off a mark of 98. It's obviously guesswork as to what he will jump Iike but he has a good jockey in Andrew Thornton to partner him in this and I reckon he'll go well. The market should be a useful guide to his chances but I'll take a chance with the early price. 4.15 - Kempton - Uriah Heep @ 2/1 Bet365 I though Alan King's runner might be slightly shorter in price than this and I quite fancy him to back up his promising 2nd last time out. He was well backed and finished 10L behind a decent yardstick in Azure Fly, the 3rd place horse as already backed up the form by winning a novice hurdle since. This leads me to believe he could be well handicapped off an opening mark of 113. Uriah Heep should come on for his first hurdle run this season and with improvement likely he'll be hard to beat here.
