Newmarket 2:00 - Irish Stallion Farms E.B.F. Bosra Sham Fillies' Stakes (Listed) (1) This is a good Listed race at Newmarket tomorrow with several chances but I like the chances of the Michael Bell trained Valen. This filly looked really impressive to the eye when pulling clear over this trip at Ffos Las in August. She was stepped up to 7f last time out at Goodwood but it looked as if the trip was too far, so now coming back down to 6f she must have a big chance. I personally think the biggest danger is Cape Factor who has won three of her four starts to date and bolted up on heavy ground last time out at Yarmouth. Valen WIN @ 6/1 Bet365

4.15 - Newmarket - Modernstone @ 4/1 Paddypower Modernstone sprung abit of a shock when winning a Windsor maiden in good style at a price of 33/1 earlier this month and I feel a similar run could see him go in again. He makes his handicap debut off a mark of 80 which looks fair but workable given his unexposed nature. Conditions should be perfect given that victory came on soft ground over 1m and another big plus is the jockey booking of Oisin Murphy.
