Aidymac
Nottingham 4:00 - 32red Nursery Handicap (3) I quite like the Charlie Appleby trained Gold Trail to land the feature race at Nottingham tomorrow. The colt looked very awkward last time out, staying on late in the day to win at Haydock and the step up in trip tomorrow ill suit massively. He ran very green and unexperienced that day and the extra month in training should bring out more improvement. chris34
Re: Flat Racing > Wednesday October 9th 7.40 Kempton Uphold has been in great form lately mainly in france but won over this course over a furlong further nicely last time out, a 3lb rise needs him to pull out a lot more now off top weight aswell. Saoi is potentially on a lenient mark but hasn’t been seen for over 200 days so is probably best watched today from a wide draw. Im Fraam Govan has been well backed today and remains unexposed having stepped up in trip and won a CD maiden on penultimate start, that form hasn’t worked out great but did back that effort up with a close 4th last time out on turf handicap debut, quickly up 2lb for that and not seen since August a slight concern but should go well but looks plenty short enough now. Duke Of Perth is consistent but continues to go up the weights without winning and is now 14lb above last winning mark and will need to step up again. Purple N Gold is another consistent sort and has been running well over hurdles last 2 starts but this mark just about looks high enough for now. Warrigal was a bitter disappoint on handicap debut last time out and is now left with something to prove hope has to come from the fact he is returning to the AW and been freshened up from a break. Cosmic Sun is the most interesting for me, he has run 3 solid races lately and the switch back to the AW is a huge positive given he is 2 from 4 on the polytrack including a CD win off a mark of 89, he is now running off 73 so is dangerously handicapped to win again and Hanagan back on board. 2pt win Cosmic Sun 11/2 VC 9.10 Kempton Not a strong handicap with not much between most of this lot and several with something to prove. Baldewood Girl is interesting given she looks a polytrack specialist having won off a mark of 60 on handicap debut last October, has since not been beaten far on polytrack, easy to excuse last time out effort at Southwell and is one to watch if putting it all together. Welsh Inlet needs a bit of luck in running but was getting closer last time out and is 3lb below last winning mark. Hughes in the saddle clearly a positive but will need some luck. Moment In The Sun won a seller over further and yet to win over this far and likely to come up short. Arabian Flight is likely to pop up at some point but appalling strike rate. Hail Promenader looks the safest option, he has an interesting jockey booking with a very useful apprentice taking off 7lb rather than William Carson riding who is booked to ride for another yard. He hasn’t been beaten far lately and takes a drop to 7f for first time in a few runs, he is dangerously well handicapped and clearly not as good as he once was but more than capable off this sort of mark especially with a the apprentices claim. 2pt win Hail Promenader 9/2 bet365
