Re: BMW Championship 12-15 Sept Tournament preview: 2pts ew S.Stricker to win BMW Championship 20/1 Betfred (1/4 1-5) Steve Stricker doesn’t play much golf these days so the fact he is playing here despite being guaranteed a place in Atlanta next week says a lot. This is like a home tournament for Stricker which will appeal to him and his record in Illinois is very good, certainly if the John Deere Classic is anything to go by. Stricker goes into this week off the back of a runners up spot two weeks ago. He hasn’t been outside the top 13 on his last four starts so the reduced schedule is clearly doing him no harm.
