8.15 Kempton Really good handicap for a class 6 event with several inform sorts. Lady Sylvia won nicely at Salisbury in an apprentice race 6 days ago, unpenalised for that but not always the most reliable and might not be the obvious sort to follow up. Mishrif’s losing run is stacking up and goes back to 2011. 3 most recents efforts have been better but slowly working up the handicap and this is a stronger race. Bowstar won nicely over CD 3 starts back and ran well off revised mark next time out before disappointing over 7f when last seen in March. Shaped as if would appreciate a step back up in trip and Fallon eye catching booking, but concern is coming back from a break may need the run and yard quiet. Arcadian Legend won at 2nd attempt last time out that was an extremely weak maiden over 6f at Lingfield. Bred to get the step up in trip and this mark might be exploitable but wide draw wont help against more experienced rivals. Red Tulip won well enough last time out pulling well clear with the 2nd. The 2nd has since let that form down and not always looked entirely straightforward and a 6lb rise may stop a follow up based upon her efforts prior to getting off the mark. Victorian Number looks a huge price, he has won 3 of his last 4 starts only beaten by an unexposed sort inbetween. Not won over this trip in this country but has in France. 5lb rise for latest win looks fair and last chance to run in a class 6 should he run well tonight, yards horses continue to run well and well drawn to go and make all again. 1pt e/w Victorian Number 8/1 bet365 8.45 Kempton Scottish Lake is likely to pop up at some point over the winter slowly working his way back down the handicap, he is now 5lb below last winning mark and did win fresh last year but wide draw is off putting. Eager To Bow is 3 from 9 around here slightly below his best last time out though over this CD and will need to show a little more spark to be involved but very good 7lb claimer in the saddle tonight. Emiratesdotcom is another with a long losing run mounting up, 2 decent efforts on turf off a lower mark recently and is also now a few lb below last winning mark but has always looked better over 6f. Quintet is the obvious favourite and rightly so having improved for the switch to handicaps last time out, beating an inform sort. 7lb rise not over harsh if able to back that run up but stall 13 pretty miserable given he was ridden very prominently last time out when winning. Black Truffle has become a little frustrating recently often catching the eye on the run to the line, never put into the race last time out till it was over after being knocked at the start. He may well be high enough in the handicap at present and given his run style will need some luck from stall 1 so probably enough to put me off for now. Hierarch might be worth another chance having backed him last time out. He may have needed the run after a short break and it was a bit of a strange race with them all finishing in a bit of a pile and although 9th only beaten 2 ¾ lengths, down a further 2lb in the handicap dropping 1lb below last winning mark. Often goes well around here and and would expect him to be finishing well from off the pace at a decent price. 1pt e/w Hierarch 11/1 VC

Re: Flat Racing Wed 11th Sept 3.00 Doncaster: Borderlescott, 8/1 Paddy Power, win Borderlescott showed he still retained plenty of ability when he finished a close third in the Beverly Bullet lto. There is plenty of early pace in the race and it should be set up perfectly for the veteran to swoop late. The ground will suit. Paul Mulrennan keeps the ride having been on board lto. 4.10 Doncaster: Gatewood, 3/1 Boylesports, win Gatewood's last victory was in the group 3 Geelong Cup in October last year. He has been highly tried since, with his last three runs in group 1 company. This is his first run since returning to John Gosden's stable after a stint in Australia. If he runs to the same level of form that he showed before leaving he will go very close. Trainer John Gosden's last three runners have all won. He has a good record at Doncaster and this is his only runner at the Yorkshire track today. The in-form William Buick is in the saddle and he also has a good record at Donny. He has won on this horse 4 times from 6 rides. 4.45 Doncaster: Regal Dan, 17/2 BetVictor, win Regal Dan ran well lto to finish third in a strong handicap at Glorious Goodwood. He was held up and started to make progress 1f out. He ran on well but was given too much to do and finished 2L behind the winner. He runs from the same mark again today and he should go close. Trainer Charlie Hills is in decent form and he has a good record at Doncaster. Ryan Moore is a big plus in the saddle. 5.15 Doncaster: Rylee Mooch, 20/1 William Hill, e/w Posted this before his last run four days ago;

5.10 Ascot: Rylee Mooch, 14/1 Bet365, e/w Rylee Mooch hasn't won since November last year but he has been in his best form recently since then and he could be winning sooner rather then later. Three runs ago he finished a ¼L third in a similar handicap at Ripon. He followed that up with a ½L second at Ayr. He ran off today's mark lto when he was a 1L fourth at Newmarket. With a good five pound claimer back on board today he should go close. The ground and trip will suit. Trainer Richard Guest is in decent form and Philip Prince is in the saddle.
He ran quite well to finish seventh. He drops in class and he has got a good draw. The ground should suit. Martin Harley takes over from Philip Prince in the saddle. If he has gotten over that run he should go well.
