johnoleary2009
hi, just read an interesting thread on a different forum where the guy would place a lay bet on say 0-0 very early on a match, when the match went in play his bet would be taken but, there was still plenty of money behind him available and so he could hope for an early goal or trade out for no loss. would be interested if anyone knows a bit more info on this type of trading or perhaps knows of any videos that can help..thank you. AlanJenkins2
Re: PLACING BETS EARLY. That sounds impractical to me.All the available 0-0 at,say 9.9 can disappear in a fraction of a second on Betfair.I've seen it.
froment
Re: PLACING BETS EARLY. the guy would place a lay bet on say 0-0 very early on a match' date='when the match went in play his bet would be taken but, there was still plenty of money behind him available and so he could hope for an early goal or trade out for no loss.[/quote'] I don't get this - if you lay 0-0, and there's a goal, your bet is winner, you don't need to trade out... If you think about trading correct score, then yes, there is a lot of strategies; say, back 1-1 and hope for any team to score a goal, in which case odds should shorten, or back 2-0 and hope for a home team to score, in which case odds also should shorten, allowing you to trade for profit. However, if a goal is scored too early or too late, odds will not shorten enough. Etc...
