4.00 Pontefract Misplaced Fortune has form around here and has dropped back to last winning mark but needs to show a lot more than has done recently. Midnight Dynamo might not get the race run to suit here and he isn’t always the most reliable. Fanrouge beat Rivas Rhapsody when they last met but she has since disappointed under a penalty 4 days ago racing a bit flat, is 2lb better off than that day but this still requires a bounce back from that effort. Rivas Rhapsody has got a 2lb turn around in the weights for ¾ length and has been kept fresh since that run and she is ultimately consistent and despite form figures suggesting otherwise she is genuine. 2pt win Rivas Rhapsody 7/2 coral 5.45 Wolverhampton A very poor contest, lacking depth and several inconsistent sorts. Moment In The Sun is reasonably consistent on the AW, bounced back from a poor run last time out back on the AW at Lingfield, 2 wins have come in sellers and one handicap off a mark of 57, a mark of 60 probably just about sums her up and worth noting her form around here has been poor and not a solid option despite weak race. Downtown Boy likes an uncontested lead and unlikely to get that in this race and the fact he is drawn out wide wont help. In such a weak race Nonaynever may be overpriced, he isn’t overly consistent but has shown glimmers of form that have started to make his mark look exploitable now, he ran one of his best race over this course over slightly further back in march off a mark of 60 has since just gone through the motions but last 2 efforts have offered a bit more especially last time out when racing from 4lb out of the handicap, and he shaped as if a step up in trip again would suit. He is well drawn here in stall 3 for a prominent racer and a price of 14/1 looks huge value. 1pt e/w Nonaynever 14/1 VC 7.45 Ffos Las Again not a strong race and most of these are better known for their AW exploits. Wordismybond looks regressive at present and cant be backed. Spinning Ridge is better on the AW and would prefer rattling fast ground and unlikely to get that here. Same can be said for For Shia and Lula. Greyemkay looks a little triples having been campaigned mainly over sprint trips and tried 10f on penultimate start and shape well and tried mile last time out again staying on. Clearly has some risks attached. Maisies Moon is the lightest raced in the field and best effort to date last time out but still needs to improve on that to win this. A chance is taken on Wyndham Wave to replicate his win on the AW returned to turf, he is 1lb lower here today and Millman is able to take his full claim off today so is effectively 3lb better off today. This headgear combination appeared to work the oracle last time out although there was signs he was coming to the boil on previous start. Best form has come on the AW but did win maiden on turf and he as always shaped as better than a 54 rated animal but clearly is quirky. 2pt win Wyndham Wave 2/1 bet365 8.15 Ffos Las One of the best races of the day. Rakaan should be closer to Cruiser tonight with a 6lb turnaround in the weights for a 3 ½ length defeat but probably not good enough to reverse those placings. Ertikaan needs to back up recent good effort and not been the easiest to predict. Peak Storm has been in good form recently and again not beaten far when going for the hatrick last time out, 1lb higher again tonight and just a chance handicapper is catching up now. Storming is the only 3yr old in the field and gets in on bottom weight but ran an awful race last time out so needs to bounce back but yard going very well all of a sudden. Cruiser looks a safer option he is consistent and won nicely in a tough handicap at Windsor on penultimate start and backed that effort up with a good 2^nd in a race not run to suit in a 4 runner race, this bigger field should suit much better as he likes to come off the pace but does seem to becoming more straightforward and has won off a 6lb higher mark in the past so should continue to go well. 2pt win Cruiser 9/2 coral

Re: Flat Racing Monday 1st July 2.15 Wolverhampton - 2pts win Gallena @ 11/2 (Bet365) Frankie Dettori has a couple of rides at Wolverhampton today and he has a 20% strike rate when teaming up with William Haggas. The yard are in form and although this filly disappointed at Ripon last time out she was weak in the market and the drift told the story as she faded out of matters. However, she showed plenty of promise prior to that and has been supported in the betting so far today. Was progressive in three maidens last term, culminating in an easy win at Bath on her third start before failing to land a blow behind a nice type in a novice race just eight days later. Was short of room and hampered out of it on her seasonal return when sent off favourite so that was much better than the bare result and she should make a big impression on her all-weather debut.
