8:10 Windsor - Robot Boy Jamie Spencer riding for Mr Barron. Over the last year, Spencer has had a decent record at Windsor but not for the trainer. What really interests me about this runner is that the previous run in which this one finished 2nd has produced two winners, who finished 3rd and 5th that day. This race is also worth roughly £1500 less, suggesting it's not as competitive although it is the same class. Robot Boy holds favouritism at present but recent maiden winner Noble Deed is not far behind and hopefully the betting will reverse come the off. 13/8 paddypower - win

Re: Flat racing - Monday 24th June 5:45 Wolverhampton - Very First Blade When this 4yo won 19 days ago, Matthew Hopkins was claiming 3lbs and today he claims 7lbs. The horse was raised 3lbs following the win, so is in fact running from a better mark today. This will be the same class but a furlong longer and he's won at Wolverhampton previously. No other runner in the field today finished in the first three LTO. 9/2 bet365 - win
