chris34
3.00 Lingfield All of these come into this with some sort of chance but struggling to understand why Cruiser is the 9/1 outsider of the field. Mias Boy finds winning hard these days and although this a lot easier than usual still competitive enough and hasn’t been suited to small fields in the past. Verse Of Love requires a career best and visor tried again and failed to do anything on penultimate start with them on so wary. Gaul Wood might be another that looks high enough in the weights at present. Roserrow showed reasonable form in 4 starts last year but not seen for a longtime so may need the run. Lowther bounced back from some lesser efforts last time out winning at Wolves over extended mile, 6lb penalty makes things tougher but remains very well treated on best form if the visor works again. Cruiser isn’t entirely straightforward but he caught the eye many times last year at Kempton, will prefer a solid gallop to aim at and small field should mean he shouldn’t find traffic problems which is something he has come across before, this is first time at Lingfield and no surprise to see him go well as the outsider. 2pt win Cruiser 7/1 VC (9/1 available with Racebet no BOG) 4.50 Bath Mubtadi is searching for a 5 timer, up another 6lb but could still be well treated on best of his form, but only turf win comes in a maiden and disappointing on turf last season and yard also had a couple of disappointments recently and therefore not hard to look elsewhere at 9/4. Ocean Legend has returned to form recently under Fallon, Gannon takes the ride today and she too has won on him in the past. Although yet to win on turf but has gone close enough times to suggest he is competitive on it and yards form continues well and gets to race of the same mark when only just failing to get up last time out when worn down at Lingfield by just a nose. He has won off higher marks in the past. 2pt win Ocean Legend 5/1 pp 5.10 Yarmouth Hard to find why Medieval Bishop is as short as 11/4 in this race, only one win to his name in a maiden and largely disappointing last year except when tried on fibresand, career low mark now but ran a stinker when fresh last year so unless you know something he looks like one to avoid. Landesharr remains a maiden but is atleast consistent but probably worth opposing. Corn Maiden has improved over the winter on fibresand, you can ignore her run last time out when she got lose and worked up at the start and should have been withdrawn. She is well worth another chance aslong as she goes down better to the start and switching the improvement on to turf this year. 2pt win Corn Maiden 11/2 VC
StuSimmy
Re: Flat Racing 30th April 16:20 Bath Echo Brava broke his maiden tag at the sixth time of asking last time out. This was his first attempt at the mile trip which he runs over again today and with just a 2lb rise he could still be well treated. Relished the extra furlong by staying on well to land the race in the closing stages. Makes the switch back to turf today and although he didn't show much on his two runs on turf, they were both in maiden races and over seven furlongs. Steve Drowne already has a winner on the card and could add to that with this horse here. 2pts E/W Echo Brava @ 8/1 (Coral - BOG)
