Re: Boxing - Apr 21-28 TV previews: 1pt J.Diaz to beat A.Khan by stoppage 10/1 Bet365 Amir Khan should come into this fight and show us all his boxing skills in a one sided victory but he should have done that against Danny Garcia, who was supposedly powerless going into the fight, and instead he ended up on the seat of his pants. Whenever Khan fights there’s always the danger of that happening again I think and I just can’t ignore the 10/1 on Diaz winning by stoppage. If it goes 12 rounds Khan should win by a landslide but there’s still that chance he gets tagged and going up in weight it’s a massive question mark if he can take shots. I’ll nibble at the 10/1. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/khan-vs-diaz-betting-julio-diaz-looks-a-big-price-to-stop-khan-in-sheffield-20130427 2pts A.Harrison to beat D.Wilder 5/1 Boylesports When Audley took this fight I must admit I wondered why but when you look into it this will probably be Wilder’s hardest test to date, assuming that the Audley which won Prizefighter turns up not the muppet who fought David Haye. Audley said after Prizefighter his next defeat was his last and he meant business when he said it, more so than ever before. Whatever people say and think about Audley one thing which can’t be denied is the power he carries and if he can get some shots away I don’t think Wilder will stand up to it for 12 rounds. Someone will probably land something substantial in the fight which will make the difference and at 5/1 I’ll take Audley in this one. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/harrison-vs-wilder-betting-audley-harrison-can-flourish-in-the-last-chance-saloon-20130427 1pt M.Murray to beat S.Martinez 5/1 Skybet I like Sergio Martinez and am a big fan of his but Martin Murray is a big price here. Martinez seems to have lost a little bit of his perceived invincibility since that Chavez fight and Murray is getting him at a perfect time. Murray will probably need a knockout to win this fight but Chavez had Martinez wobbling in their fight and Murray has it in him to do the same. Martinez is still classy and could well go on to school Murray but I think Murray is better than the bare odds suggest and even as the away fighter he’s worth a small punt here.
