I seem to be more disciplined when I'm actually keeping note of something and I guess in turn can be held accountable to it. So be using this to keep a note of my picks and see where I can improve. Majority of picks will be in football as this is where most of my knowledge and interest lies. Got £30 spare in my Betfair account so will be using this for a starting bank. I'm not going for consecutive bets or anything like that just profit, be placing bets and aiming to trade on anything I think represents value. Bank: £30 Selection: BACK Stoke to be relegated @ 8 Stake: £12 First bet is a massive proportion of my bank but the odds in my opinion are ridiculous, recent form is terrible and they have a hard run in, especially with Manchester United next game. Probably be aiming to trade out of this one at some point for a guaranteed profit as I think they may just survive but it will be a lot harder then the odds suggest.

Re: Penguin's Picks Bank: £18 Selection: Juventus vs Bayern Munich - Both teams to score NO @ 2.46 Stake: £5 Big odds for what I think will be a cagey game, may trade out in-play depending on how I think it's going. Think Bayern will set-up very defensively memories of the Arsenal 2nd leg in their mind, obviously Juventus will need to attack but I don't think they will do so stupidly knowing how dangerous Bayern are on the break and one goal from them effectively kills the game. Bank: £13 Selection: Barcelona vs PSG - Both teams to score YES @ 1.79 Stake: £8 No real reasoning for this as such, just think both sides have too much going forward to not score.
