Best Bet Of The Day 4th April

Recommended Posts

5.55 Wolverhampton A really decent handicap for the grade and several interesting runners. Any money for Absolutely Me wouldn’t make this race very uninteresting showed very little for small yard has now joined a gambling yard and been off the track for nearly a year but is the typical sort this yard get the best out of somehow when the handbrake is released but cannot back on what we have seen to date. Jezza been in good form recently winning 2 handicaps before finishing runner up last time out over CD in a 4 runner event off revised mark possible handicapper back in charge although may not have been suited by making running so could improve on that effort today. Brunello better known for his exploits on the fibresand but he ran a brilliant 2nd last time out over CD, up a 1lb makes things tougher again but still relatively lightly raced so possible can win off this mark although has always been a tad frustrating at short prices. Cape Alex hadn’t shown a great deal until last time out on seasonal reappearance around here over 12f, shaped as if a step up in trip wouldn’t be a problem and dangerous to dismiss off same mark. But just 7 days after a break a concern with the bounce factor. The slightly safer option might be The Blue Dog who had appeared to relish this step up in trip recently winning last time out over CD un this jockey winning with ease and a 4lb rise in the weights looks very lenient and should run well has held form well in the past. 1pt win The Blue Dog 5/2 bet365

Re: Best Bet Of The Day 4th April 4.40 Lingfield The Jeremy Noseda trained Nocturn makes his reappearance, last run being in July. He was a progressive horse then posting good runs over this trip on turf. He hasn't ran on an artifical surface yet but does have AW winners in his pedigree. Been gelded since as well. Top weight could be a big ask but with Buick on board I anticipate a good run. Nocturn 1pt win 5/2 BOG Paddy Power
