3.10 Lingfield Sannibel EW @ 12/1 BetVictor I like the chances of Sannibel in this one, despite running abysmally last time out. She finished well tailed off at Southwell but I can forgive her one bad run, especially at that track. Her 2 previous runs over CD were very encouraging, finishing a fast finishing 2nd on both occasions. Her last run over CD was particularly impressive as she did find trouble in the home straight before finishing with a real rattle to finish 2nd. She does only have 1 win to her name but I think she has shown recently, that she could be ready to strike again. Robert Tart looks to have built up a good partnership with her as both those 2nds over CD have come under him. She is effectively 4lb higher in this tougher race but I fancy her to go well. Hopefully all 8 will go to post, which will give us 3 places to play for. Elusive Hawk won very easily last time out but all 6 career wins have come over 6f so there has to be a doubt as to whether this horse is as good over 7f. I do think Yankee Storm is the main danger after a comfortable win last time out. Jim Crowley is as good as any around here, and no doubt this horse will be in the shake up. I do however think Sannibel is a big price considering her last 2 runs over CD. If you can forgive her latest run at Southwell, then she comes here with a decent chance.

Re: BBOTD Monday 25th 3.40 Lingfield Totally uninspiring looking few days on the AW with little to get excited about in modest field sizes aswell. Just interested in one and very uninspiring selection but hope it can do the business 1 bet 1 win be nice! Bottom 2 make no appeal both running well out of the handicap. I am finding it really hard to see why Red Larkspur is as short as she is, not seen since October when failing to beat a rival on soft ground. She was generally well held in AW handicaps prior to that off the mark of 78 several times. Now running off 75 and only has one win to her name in a maiden so has plenty of negatives. First time hood is used and Hughes an eye catching booking but clearly overbet. Catalinas Diamond has been largely consistent this winter, but is not an easy one to win with she did get her head in front on penultimate start, 3lb rise has left her looking exposed and well beaten last time out on this mark. She needs them to go hard up front often travels well and finds less than seems likely most of the time. Chevise scored at 20/1 on penultimate start a bit out of the blue although had fell a fair way in the handicap but went back in her shell last time out off a 2lb higher mark at Kempton. The return to Lingfield a plus and well treated on best form but becoming unreliable with age. Amethyst Dawn is a likeable reliable mare who has run respectably all winter, a good second behind run away winner last time out (Elusive Hawk, races in the 3.10) and the 5th Mataajir won this weekend at his preferred Southwell. She comfortably beat the remainder of the field and gets to run off the same mark. She remains well treated on her very best form and in a race which perhaps wont take much winning. 1pt win Amethyst Dawn 7/4 boyles
