chris34
6.25 Wolverhampton Ensnare is nothing but frustrating he can run a good race and is more than capable off this sort of mark but is becoming increasingly inconsistent. William Van Gough ran a good enough race for a first start for well over a year last time out over CD, he showed very little prior to that though so does now need to back that effort up off same mark. Hill Of Dreams improved for the fitting of headgear last time out, they will need to work again off this sort of mark. For me John Potts should run a great race. He has slowly been finding his feet after a lengthy lay off now 4 runs back into this season, last 2 efforts have been solid ones unlucky to bump into a rejuvenated dangerously handicapped horse last time out. Comfortably held the rest of the field. Up another 1lb and probably last chance in a class 6 handicap and this mark still well below some of his best form. 2pt win John Potts 3/1 bet365 8.30 Wolverhampton Legal Eagle is on a long losing run and has dropped dramatically in the handicap but no record fresh and one to tread carefully with back from a break. Silly Billy has changed hands and would be no surprise to see him score at some point in the near future, he can be a little bit of a tricky ride. He was in the progress of running a good race last timeout before meeting trouble he is always open to that risk from another poor draw. Fleetwoodsands is another that can be competitive off this sort of mark but is another that is very inconsistent and yard very very quiet at the moment. Jonnie Skull is drawn out wide which wont suit him as he is a front runner, ran a good race in a similar weak event last time out, his aging legs looked to be summed up by this mark though and vunerable to anything slightly better treated. Regal Acclaim is the most interesting at a reasonable price. The Cannon have only had 1 runner recently and that is Pull The Pin and he has ran well and won this week in first time blinkers. Regal is fitted with the first time blinkers which would suggest he is here to do his job rather than get him fit for a spring campaign. He was only beaten ¾ length when last seen off this mark at Lingfield and his 2 wins have come when he is fresh and he may just be a horse you need to catch fresh. 2pt win Regal Acclaim 6/1 bet365
