chris34
3.05 Southwell Klynch burst back to life last summer getting a hatrick up last win off 88, now rated 81 having gone the wrong way afterwards, yet to convince he handles the surface in 3 starts and record fresh not great. Sound Amigo has twice disappointed around here this winter and has to go on the watch list now having failed to show anything worthwhile in 2 starts this winter. Victoire De Lyphar is another Ruth Carr runner making seasonal debut today and can be expected to come on from this, well handicapped on best form but yet to try surface and record fresh not great especially with aging legs. Aubretia comes here on the back of a 3 wins including over CD and last time out over 5f, likely to appreciate the return to 6f given she was briefly outpaced last time out before scooting away clear, clearly has to stand plenty of racing at the moment before handicapper catches up with her because she is sure to be hit hard for latest impressive win and if in same form will be hard to beat but worry is the amount of runs recently. Sans Loi and Bandstand were 4th and 5th respectably behind Sans Loi over 6f who are both 15lb better off for a 5 length defeat and both can be expected to strip fitter and make more interest at price for all Aubretia is improving rapidly. Bandstand has dropped to 2lb below his last winning mark over CD but might be worth a try over 7f. Sans Loi is the least exposed and was making debut for Ellison last time out and showed enough to show he handled the surface, he is dropping down the weight after disappointing 3yr old season and if building on that effort shouldn’t be too far away. 1pt win Sans Loi 4/1 bet365 4.25 Southwell Pretty desperate affair with most of these badly out of sorts. Bird Dog won twice around here last winter but has since totally lost the plot return to 5f is a positive but needs to for something now. Nafa has been largely consistent and the fact she has placed here off a 6lb higher mark puts her in the mix but she generally finds winning tough and comes with obvious risk. Steel City Boy is not that consistent these days and although been in reasonable form this winter disappointing last time out at Lingfield but still potentially well treated on very best form but this rider never convinces and usually puts up a few lb overweight. Imjin River is 1 from 2 around here over 6f, can often be slowly away and that obviously risky around here and yet to win over 5f in 5 attempts and looks to need further. Lesleys Choice is 3 from 11 around here and 3 from 7 over CD, not been in any form so far this winter, but has dropped 2lb below last handicap win, headgear back on but would have still liked to see something given he handles polytrack just aswell. Shawkantango has to be the one to be interested in on his return to this surface, he can be a frustrating sort often away slowly and needs the leaders to fall back on him, but he can finish his races off well and he has been doing so recently to suggest he is in good form. He has dropped to his last winning mark and is 4lb below his last winning mark around here. He is 4 from 9 over this CD and in a weak looking race he has to have a solid chance back here from a good middle draw. 2pt win Shawkantango 3/1 bet365 5.05 Southwell Betting on a 7/4 shot wouldn’t normally be my thing but I was surprised to see Dewala such a big price. Med Sea looks just about handicapped out of things at present. Roc De Prince has burnt plenty of fingers recently and didn’t look to convince on surface last time out. Jacobs Son won last time out that wasn’t a strong race and a 4lb rise looks hard enough in a competitive race. Stanley Rigby chased down Dewala last time out, they meet on same terms and the fact Dewala did enough out in front early enough that day suggests Dewala should easy confirm those placings. Discay improved on first start of the year over CD last time out, he did hang badly and didn’t look the easiest ride and would want to be doing that today but could easily improve on that gritty run and will need to off a 4lb higher mark, worth noting Johnsons horses looked to run fairly flat on Saturday bringing a hot spell to an end always hard to know which yard they all come out of but even so another negatives for me. Dewala has been kept busy racking up the 3 timer here last time out just 5 days ago. Runs off the same mark today and if over those exertions she should be hard to beat given the handicapper is sure to take a very harsh view of her improvement when he gets the chance to! 2pt win Dewala 7/4 bet365
Primevil
Re: Flat Racing 12th March How about this..If Sedge N South go ahead.. approx 25/1 first two FAVS at each meeting to go in..About 25/1..6 timer..Bookies would be reeling if that happened.:rollin
