On paper, the two in this race, Digg Whittaker and My Mate Vic, do not look up to much. The former is coming from a long 777 day absence from the racetrack, although he ran in a point-to-point 17 days ago, while the latter from a mere 22. My Mate Vic ran a creditable 3rd (of 8) LTO and is sired by the prolific, Old Vic, who has produced 5 winners at this 3m1.5f distance in the past year.
