BBOTD Tuesday 5th

Recommended Posts

3.00 Exeter Courting Whitney EW @ 18/1 BetVictor Bit of a leap of faith needed with this one as she has been beaten 93L, 25L, 42L, 53L on 4 of her runs since winning at Worcester and was pulled up last time out. She probably had excuses on her 2 immediate runs after winning as she was put up a massive 18lbs for winning but she is now almost back down to that same mark of 92 of which she bolted up by 13 lengths over 20f on good ground. The ground is still good to soft but is drying up by the day and it will be much more to her liking than the heavy ground she has ran on in all 3 starts this season. As a result of running on unsuitable ground her mark has plummeted back down to 95 which puts her just 3lbs higher than her only ever winning mark. I think this is certainly her trip as she has found anything close to 3m too far and the ground drying up is in her favour. Laura young doesn't get many winners but she recently had a winner which was partnered by Dougie Costello who gets the leg up on Courting Whitney. It wouldn't be the biggest surprise to see a vast improvement on what she has shown so far this season. Plenty of runners in the race so 4 places are up for grabs and hopefully she can at least get into the first 4.

Re: BBOTD Tuesday 5th Not that great he has another poor draw from the 10 gate but its just the luck of the draw. Jockey R.Havlin gets the leg up again and knows the fella well, he's won a few times on him and also had a few fair efforts when hitting the crossbar, came out the car park gate last time out ''stall 14'' back on the 12th Feb but still finished 2nd, might even have got closer to the winner that day if it wasn't for the poor draw. Runs off a fair enough mark today and if he can get the kick he's sure to run another bold race. 5:10 Southwell - Ridgeway Hawk. 1pt Win Bet @ 7/1 Bet365 ''BOG''
