bully3061
250 Lingfield Artful lady returns after a little rest and looks like is set to run a big race again. Cd winner up 3lb for winning here lto. Pity Moore aint back on board but dont think the current price would be available if he was. Whilst going up in the rating we run off the same weight and have a good jockey in I mongan on board. Trainer does well here in recent times. Artful lady has a 17% strike rate at this level and i feel still ahead of the handicapper. A few come here well handicapped but out of form so in a tough race ill be on 1/2 pt win 5.7 and 1/2 pt place 2.16 Drifting but im going in again a extra 1/2 pt on the place side got 2.3. Maybe someone knows something but the 2.3 looks big
chris34
Re: Flat racing Saturday 2nd March 4.00 Lingfield Not the greatest card today and this is a poor class 3 handicap although remains competitive despite the small field. Loyalty was fairly prolific last year and has found his feet again recently but has also shown some dodgy antics and attitude this winter and wouldn’t be an obvious starting point to follow up again at present, also was all out to win so a 6lb penalty may make life harder too. Aquilonious is of interest having made all over 1m2f around here last time out, drop in trip shouldn’t be a problem nor the 2lb rise in weights but concern is wont get easy lead with Dr Red Eye in the field and also Mister Musicmaster. Lord Of the Shadows was disappointing on his comeback run last time out but a few Hannon runners recently have improved for the run so can easily be excused that. Although a mark of 85 may still flatter him slightly having paid for a successful 2yr old campaign and may just need a bit more from the handicapper yet. Dr Red Eye ran respectably on his comeback run last time out, but yet to win off a mark this high last win came off 75 running off 82 today. Also unlikely to get an easy time out in front. Mister Musicmaster has really found his feet this winter for this yard over CD, scoring nicely last time out 5lb rise well within reach on that evidence with that form looking solid enough. He is likely to sit prominently just behind the leaders which does the look the ideal way to ride Lingfield at present. Looks a big price in this sort of race. 2pt win Mister Musicmaster 13/2 SJ
