After a very profitable December I got a well deserved break but now I'm ready to roll this 2013 season at full speed. Flat stake as always, bet will be posted part the night before the races and part during the morning. A mix of speed ratings selections, well backed horses and gambles will be the heart of this thread. 1.40 LINGFIELD ICANBOOGIE 1pt Win @7/1 Bet365 #BOG Interesting contest between just 4 horses. Taxiformissbyron already beaten him but today the filly will race a net 7lbs higher than that run and it's very hard to beat the handicapper three times in a row. With a weak favorite I think Icanboogie could really improve being the lighter of the field and the price is good enough for a try. 2.40 LINGFIELD BRIDGE THAT GAP 1pt Win @5/1 Bet365 #BOG Steadily improving since running under the cap, it will run under the same mark of last time and the booking of Adam Kirby is a clear sign of a try for the money here. 3.40 LINGFIELD FONTERUTOLI 0.5pts E/W @16/1 Bet365 #BOG Roger Ingram has booked Adam Kirby just for 6 runs in the last 5 years: 2 were wins. Today Adam is on for two (the first one was Bridge That Gap on the 2.40) and I'm pretty sure he'll try to do as much as he can to reach at least a place. 16/1 in a 12 run contest looks a very big price for a horse which loves the distance, usually placing, and which probably reached for this run a fair mark at 54. 5th here over 1m just one month ago and 2lbs higher, now with a very well respected jockey onboard. Bad wide draw but placing is very reachable. I do also fancy Uncle Roger at 6/1 on the 4.40 but no bet for me since some others are interesting too.

Tasty win for Bridge That Gap at 5/1 steamed to 9/4 before the off (the importance of early prices) which enjoyed a lot the cheekpieces.
