Re: Flat Racing Tuesday 29th January 14.00 - Wolverhamton - Blazing Desert @ 13/2 PaddyPower Probably not the most obvious selection considering he was beaten by 2 of his rivals earlier this month but i feel that Blazing Desert has a decent chance of reversing the placing tomorrow. That race was over 17f here at Wolverhampton and i have a feeling that the drop back in trip will suit him more than the market principles, especially considering he won on his only other appearance over this distance. He wasnt totally discraced in a jumpers bumper on Sunday up against some decent rivals and most importantly he has a top amateur jockey booked for tomorrow in Simon Walker. Only flat handicap win came off a 7lb higher mark and not feeling the effects of Sundays run should put in a decent performance here i feel. 16.30 - Wolverhampton - Fighter Boy @ 15/2 BetVicor Competitve race but i feel Fighter Boy's turn to get his head back in front is only just around the corner. Its amazing to think he was running off a mark of 99 back in June last year and he now finds himself in a class 6 handicap off a mark of 60. He's been well supported on his last 2 starts over 7f at this track but hasnt obliged, although he wasnt beaten that far in 4th last time out. Now upped to what looks like a more suitable trip of 9f i think he will have a better chance. He's a previous C&D winner and the toungue-tie and blinkers combo is tried together for the first time. Jockey and yard both going okay okay so far in 2013 and it wouldnt surprise me to see some money for this one once again. 17.30 - Prince Of Passion @ 6/1 Ladbrokes Prince Of Passion looks of interest now he has dropped down to his last winning mark. He showed signs of coming back to some sort of form last time out when given an aggresive ride over a slightly shorter distance ending up a 3L 4th. Upped to 7f today which is a distance he has won over before and should suit him. As i mentioned he has been dropped 2lbs which takes him back to his last winning mark of 60. Joe Fanning booked to ride is a positive move considering he rode a treble yesturday.
