Hello guys Please help me http://tolstoy.newcastle.edu.au/R/e8/help/att-6544/karlisntzuofras03.pdf On page 386 is shows the formula This model double Poisson Xi ∼ Poisson.(λ1i) Yi ∼ Poisson.(λ2i) log(λ1i) = µ + home + att(hi)+ def(gi)+ home.att(hi)+home.def(gi)+ att.def(higi)+ home.att.def(higi) log(λ2i) = µ + att(gi)+ def(hi) + att.def(gihi) Example, if hometeam(h) score 38 ,conceeding 15 ,game played 15 and away team (g) score 24, conceeding 17, played 15 att(hi)=38/15=2,53 def(gi)=17/15=1,13 att.def(higi)=2,53*1,13=2,86 what is µ ,home , home.att(hi), home.def(gi) , home.att.def(higi) ? How calculate it ? I want calculate attack and defence rating as on a page 389 for model1 Double Poisson who knows how do it , please help
