Cowan Posted January 12, 2013 Share Posted January 12, 2013 Lingfield 2.00 - Exceedexpectations 12/1 This horse went in my notebook on the 5th December when finishing second over 7f having led the whole race with the initial disadvantage of being drawn widest. He came across the field showing brilliant early speed, but stamina just wasn't enough. Came 3rd in next start over 7f again. This time is dropped to 6f and again drawn widest. That is a coffin draw and perhaps why the price is as high as 12/1. But one way to negate to effect of the draw is to drive forward and take the rail - that's what I'm gambling on!
