Have I found the holy grail of roulette strategies?

Hi! I'm a newbie to all this punter stuff, so I was simply doing lots of matched betting and recovering sign up bets to get a bit of quick 'free' cash. Then I was checking out all the casino stuff that's always on bookmakers sites and messing around with some low stakes roulette when a system came into my head. Just keep doubling then you'll eventually get your money back. Found out that it's called the Martingale system. Ohh yes. The Martingale system. It never ends well in the long run etc. etc. But I've found that if I stick to some rules I've made for myself not to go crazy and lose it all, I've found it to be very profitable. For example yesterday I managed to make £440 though that did take me more time than I would envisage myself normally playing a day. So yeah, what I've been doing is placing a bet of 20p on either the 1st, 2nd or 3rd dozen, doesn't really matter, then spinning, if it doesn't win, double and respin, repeat etc. And if you bet on a position where the return is 3x the bet the profit is always the value of the 'winning' bet plus the starting bet. But to stop myself going crazy and losing it all I've said to myself that I will always stop when the bet reaches around £25 in this case. Or a value that I can afford to lose. Which happens if I don't get a win 8 times in a row. This happens occasionally but this amount can be made up again no problem. Most wins are not that substantial say 40p, 80p, £1.60. But every so often I win £6.60, £13 sometimes £25. I seem to get a steady flow of profit generally however. I can maybe envisage up to a £100 a day with a little time spent on it a day. And this £36500 tax free money a year seems very nice. And since I'm a student racking up masses of student debt this amount seems absolutely ridiculous! But what are you guys opinion on this? Is it too good to be true? Do the companies have something against this system that will stop me from 'winning'? Or maybe I should have kept this to myself and put it in an ebook to flog on ebay? :P

Re: Have I found the holy grail of roulette strategies? The computer could give you no random results to benefit them. 8 in a row losers at 1-3 is easy to get and you have lost 7 bets for £25 loss not 8 so even more chance of losing. The casino is edged to win or wouldnt be there.
