He won 2 years ago off 67 and then followed up last year off 63. Today he races off 61 and comes here on the back of a little break which should have freshened him up. They did a similar thing with him last year with him coming into this race on the back of a 74 day break and with his last 2 results reading last of 13 and last of 9. I don't think his recent form really matters and he does often show his best form at this track. He comes here on the back of a 71 day break and a poor run at Lingfield over 10f. His 3 all weather wins have all come at Kempton with countless placed efforts. He is often slowly away which is a worry but what could be more of a negative here is a lack of pace. Last year they went pretty quick up front which allowed him to come with a sustained run down the outside to win quite cosily. If they do go quick up top then I would expect to see this one finishing off his race well. I would be surprised if this race has not been a target for some time with this horse considering he has already won it twice.
