Machine Posted January 1, 2013 Share Posted January 1, 2013 Artificial Intelegence Trixie Estimator I was asked a while ago by a friend of mine would it be possible to adapt A.I.D.E to predict its top 3 selections to put in a trixie (as thats his favourite Saturday footy bet). I already have one set to predict its Nap and NB from home and away so adding 1 more wasnt much of a problem. :eyes Only done a small test run on last season, nothing spectacular but did end up in profit,but that means zip unless its tested realtime. Estimated bank required is 40pts (10 attemps) so double it for safety 80pts starting bank required. In testing out of sets of 10 trixies it averaged :- Average price of single selection 2.32 3 complete losses -12pts 6 double wins averaging +1.38pts per double, Total + 8.28pts 1 trixie average +24.63pts Leaving a profit of +20.91pts per 10 trixies bet As Ive stated before backtesting means absolutely nothing as you have neither lost nor gained anything just basic information. Im not a fan of multiple bets, Im more a low variance high volume singles bettor. Basically if you bet multiples (low volume) you are in effect trying to cherry-pick the best and put them together to produce your end multiple (usually a recipe for disaster). What Ive attempted to do is give the programme the required end product parameters and got it to basically reverse engineer the best selections from the latest odds available, the more selections it makes the more it should alter its original parameters towards its optimum ones. :hope If it works great :cigar ........ if it doesnt just a few quid and a few hours of my life wasted :( , no big deal.
