2.15 Southwell The Fonz 1pt win @ 10/1 BetVictor The Fonz comes here on the back of a 3 month break which might have just freshened him up. He won very nicely over CD earlier in the year off 104 but disappointed on his last start at Uttoxeter where he was pulled up. He is 19lbs higher now than when he won over CD but he makes his return to action with the yard in good form having had 2 winners from their last 5 runners. Renee Robeson has a particularly good record at Southwell with 5 winners form 12 runners showing a level stakes profit of +£23.25. This looks a competitive little race but everything points to a good run from this horse here.

It is the only course and distance winner in this field which is a plus. It was pulled up last time out but went off a short enough price (4/1) which suggests to me a better run was definately expected. It is 100% at the track, which was over C+D in June, and it hacked up that day beating Lieutenant Miller by nearly 5 lengths. It could well turn out the horse goes well at this track, and Mrs Robeson has had 2 winners from her last 5 runners.
