This past Friday I visited Newmarket Rowley. I've now been to both Newmarket courses and have to say that, aesthetically, this is my favourite - although I believe it's had a lot of redevelopment quite recently which would explain that. At the July course, it's a bit of a walk to get from the parade ring to the on-course bookmakers, whereas here it's a welcome breeze. To get from the entrance, though, to the clubhouse, it's more than a few steps if you are travelling on foot, so it's probably best to get a taxi from the high street. The impressive Rowley stand.
