Still with Rivers problems in moving the ball, and the possibility of WRs Meachem and Royal may be out, then the Chargers may struggle to move the ball here. In the running game, SD have ran for 100+ yards in 5 of their 7 games while Kansas has allowed 104+ rushing yards in their last 4 games, so they are likely to have more success running the ball here. Kansas have problems in sticking to a QB and have Cassel back in, but they have passed for less than 220 yards in their last three games with just 1 passing TD and 6 INTS in these last 3 games. SD have given up 14 passing TDs this season but they have managed 7 INTs so they may be able to stop the Chiefs passing game here. Expect Kansas to run the ball more as they average 155 yards per game but SD average allowing just 80 rushing yards per game, so they are well equipped to negate Kansas here. These two teams met last month, where SD won 37-20 on the road, as the Chargers had 209 passing yards (2 TDs, 1 INT) and allowed just 251 passing yards (2 TD, 3 INTs) while they ran for 104 yards and allowed 117 rushing yards. Not that impressive numbers by either side but the score was blown out due to the 6 turnovers by Kansas which shortened the field for SD while SD had two turnovers. If both sides can hold onto the ball, then expect them to run it more which should chew up the clock. Neither QB in good form to suggest that they will throw it much here Record: 19-37 (-8.27)
