The horse in question is Ballygarvey who ran (sort of) in the 2.30 race at Taunton. First run for Philip Hobbs and first run over fences, but never really put in the race and jockey Johnson never once tried to get the horse competitive. The horse jumped well and looked comfortable, so I just thought if there was something I missed??? Thought of the horse maybe having a problem, but then surely pulling him up would be a wise move. Anyhow, food for thought and maybe a runner to keep an eye on for the future here guys. A puzzled Falbrav and a £40 lighter Verisimilitude.

Re: Schooling In Public?? Was just out for the run by the looks of it. Happens with nearly every horse in training, get the horse used to it's surroundings, get it a nice handicap mark, and when the time is right, BANG, they lump on it and make a packet. That's just the way racing works.
