Tampa Bay -2.5 @ 4.15 centrebet Tampa Bay's QB Freeman has thrown for 3 TDs in each of his last two games against Kansas and New Orleans, and though neither have a good pass defence, still like them to throw on Minnesota who have only once allowed 300+ passing yards and that was to Detroit. The other sides they have played are more run-first type of teams so their secondary has not really been exposed. TB may have problems running the ball as Minnesota does well to stop the run and TB have not ran for more than 80 yards in their two road games so far. However if Freeman can find Jackson and Williams then they can find a few TDs here. Minnesota likes to run the ball but are up against the 3rd ranked rush defence that has only once allowed 100+ yards in a game (to Washington) and if they have to rely on their QB Ponder to score, then they could be in trouble as he is up-and-down. TB's secondary has allowed 300+ yards in 4 of their 6 games, so there is opportunities for him to take advantage of this, but so far he has not shown enough to exude confidence in his abilities. The TB secondary has allowed 8 passing TDs but 4 of them happened last week to Brees while they have 8 INTs so they are a chance of picking off a ponder. Also, they have won their last 5 meetings against Minnesota, including last year beating them 24-20 in Minnesota. Dogs are on fire in the Thursday night games, so like TB here. Record: 17-32 (-9.62)

Minnesota are playing good football at the minute and will come into the match full of confidence. Ponder has enough targets to get the job done if Adrian Peterson can’t be effective and I think the Vikings can pick up their sixth win of the season here.
