Re: BBOTD Monday 22nd 4.00 Windsor Pivotman 1pt win @ 20/1 Bet365 Taking a big chance on this horse as he has been beaten a combination of 259 lengths in his 6 starts this season. He did however show a little more of his true ability last time out at Nottingham on good to soft ground. His 2 career wins have both come on soft ground and he has yet to get his ground this season. He bolted up on debut on soft ground, beating Carlton House by 4 lengths and he won at Ffos Las on soft ground by 8 lengths back in 2011 off a mark of 83. Since that win I don't think he has had his optimum conditions. That being said, there are no excuses for his very poor form this year as he has ran well on quicker ground in the past. He is down to a mark of 76 now which makes him well handicapped if you look at his demolition job off 83. He also gets heavy ground for the first time which I think will suit him. He is by Pivotal which explains the preference for soft ground so he may just love the conditions tomorrow. He is yet to race at the track but Windsor is a good track for front runners so it could suit him. Jim Crowley takes the ride and Amanda Perrett is in decent form at the moment with a few winners in the last couple of weeks.
