sarah07 Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 After suffering from muscle tears from her victory in the Group I Golden Jubilee Stakes at the Royal Ascot Carnival last June, undefeated champion mare Black Caviar is ready to work for an autumn campaign in 2013. Trainer Peter Moody said once recovered, the daughter of Bel Esprit will return to light work on a water walker before making an appearance at the Caulfield stables for an evaluation. Moody also told RV that Black Caviar will return to spelling paddock before pursuing her career next year. "We're going to give her a rest now and she will be geared towards and autumn preparation,†Moody said. "That's the extent of it at this stage; no races have even been thought of or discussed as potential targets.†Quote
