Re: BBOTD Sunday 16th of September 3.10 Longchamp Gallikova win @ 9/2 BetVictor This horse took this race last year and although he has finished 3rd on both starts this year, I fancy him to run a big race here from stall 1. He made his first start this season in a 4 runner race won be Meandre but I don't think the form of that race can be taken at face value as it was very tactical. The way it was run and the fact there were so few runners would not have suited Gallikova as it didn't Danedream. Next time up probably found the trip against him and also the amazing filly Snow Fairy who took the race. I think a return to this trip will suit and although he would probably prefer it softer, he should still run a big race from the best of the draw. Favourites have a good record in this race but it looks a lot more competitive this year and there are plenty in here with chances. Olivier Peslier is a cracking jockey and I would expect him to stay out of any possible trouble in running which is very common with French racing.
