*Titus Titan - Wolverhampton 4:30* This horse is a half-brother to Astrology, who finished 3rd in the Derby. Ran in a Class 2 nursery at York last time out and was out of it's depth, but did go off a short enough price @ 9/2, and now steps down two grades to Class 4 into a much weaker field, and the booking of Silvestre De Sousa catches the eye. Interestingly, it has run over 5f, 6f and 7f, but for the first time tomorrow is running over 1m 1f, something Brian Ellison is notorious for doing is improving horses over further, so i reckon this horse is overpriced and should not be the complete outsider. It is also dropped 2 pounds from it's last run. Brian Ellison is in great form with 4 winners from his last 9 runners. De Sousa has won on 2 of his last 5 rides for Ellison, and is 9 winners from 33 rides showing a profit of +£6.60 to level stakes. Re: Flat Racing Monday 3rd of September Iced Opal ~ 4.50 Fflos Las 10/1 (bet365) Iceman progeny often do well when the ground is soft and M. Blanshard's filly has shown she handles soft ground with two decent efforts with cut. Down to a mark of 66(lowest) and hopefully freshened up after a 6 week break she can improve on her last run when beaten 2l and staying on nicely over 5f. Back to 6f at Ffos las should suit. 1.pt e/w
