Hi, newbie here, though not new to backing as I have been backing horses for over forty years and at one time was a heavy hitter and very disciplined and my gambling was profitable, but since losing my job due to the economic downturn, I don't have the funds to gamble with like I did and my discipline has gone out the window. Nowadays if I get ahead, I tend to think that I am invincible and start chasing that pot of gold and without fail I end up broke. I am not putting up a system of any type as I don't think there are any systems when it comes to Horseracing but i do think that we should do all that is possible to try and make things a little more in our favour when gambling. Like I said lack of discipline and greed are currently my undoing but backing sensibly I do ok until I crack. I will be backing the horses I put up only with bookies that offer Insurebet odds and seperate Place Only odds. When I put up my selection(s) I will put the prices that are available at time of posting and i will also keep a log of the actual prices I have backed them at and will post this log up, maybe weekly.
