Re: BMW International Open *Raphael Jacquelin e/w @ 50/1 Skybet* This Frenchman played very steady golf in the US Open last week recording rounds of 72, 71, 73 and 71, finishing +7 in 21st position, which was a great score on that course, as +1 by Webb Simpson won the event. He has had 3 wins on the European Tour, Madrid Open in 2005, BMW Asian Open in 2007 and the Sicilian Open in 2011. He has had other creditable performances this year, 7th in the Volvo Golf Champions and a 5th placed finish in the Open De Andalucia. He finished 31st in this event last year, 36th in 2010, 11th in 2007 and 9th in 2005, so he has done well in this event, and after his US Open round, he will be full of confidence coming into this event. *Darren Fichardt e/w @ 100/1 Totesport* Looks too big a price for a guy that won last week in the Saint-Omer Open. It was not the strongest of fields he participated in, but nonetheless he beat what was in front of him, and is a tad overpriced here this week. He has had 3 other Top 20 finishes this year. He has had 3 ET wins to his name, he won in Brazil in 2001, won the Qatar Masters in 2003 and last week's success made up the three. With the man in good form, i am willing to take a chance at the price. *Shane Lowry e/w @ 150/1 Stanjames* Going to take a chance on my fellow Irish man here. He won the Irish Open back in 2009, where before that he played off +5 at his club, so he is a very talented golfer to have been able to play off that handicap. He was 6th in the Sicilian Open this year and was 7th in Andalucia. He also had 4 Top 10 finishes last year including a 4th in the BMW PGA Championship. He finished 17th in this event two year's ago and on his day he is very capable of featuring in any event, so looks overpriced at 150/1.
