Hi guys, I'm not sure if you have heard or not but a rule was announced for this years WSOP in Vegas for all side events, That every player must verbally announce every action from the final 2 tables. So they need to verbally announce "Check" "Fold" "Raise to x amount" "Call" It has now been Stated by the WSOP that it is not mandatory but they will be continuously encouraging that the players do this. Im just wondering what your opinions are on this? mcrjay

Re: New WSOP rule regarding "verbalising" every action on the final 2 tables I think they re doing it so the live streams online know what is going on...... Surely though this should be down to the dealer to announce like they have done in every other WSOP and major tournament that is shown? 90% of players there have played the game in silence all there careers now having this thrust upon them. And for amateurs too if playing with big names are going to be to nervous to say anything

Re: New WSOP rule regarding "verbalising" every action on the final 2 tables I don't know why some players have got so up in arms about this. I guess it's been brought in as a way to try and liven up poker for the masses.

The masses aren't watching, even poker geeks are giving up on the terrible quality live stream this year.

Re: New WSOP rule regarding "verbalising" every action on the final 2 tables i agree - this year has been the worst for media coverage. The streams are dull and there are no daily round up videos......it has been a boring WSOP so far....I go later this week so hope to liven it up!
