European Tour 2012: Volvo World Matchplay 17-20 May

Some of Europe's finest head out to Spain for the Volvo Matchplay this week. All bets/thoughts and anything else Volvo Matchplay in here please gents :ok

Re: European Tour 2012: Volvo World Matchplay 17-20 May *Graeme McDowell e/w @ 14/1 Boylesports (1/2, 2 Places)* Graeme has sort of been under the radar of late, but looking at his form in 2012, it is all not that bad at all. He is currently ranked 20th in the world, and has had some nice results this year, 2nd in the Arnold Palmer, 9th in the Honda Classic, 13th in the Cadillac, and played very well at The Masters where he finished 12th. He has proven himself to be a very good match player, at the last Ryder Cup he was immense. He was 9th in the Accenture Matchplay in 2011, he has 7 European Tour wins to his name and he was 5th in the Volvo Matchplay in 2011. He would have to have a major chance in this tournament for me. *Nicolas Colsaerts e/w @ 16/1 (1/2, 2 Places)* A vastly improved player this man. Has had a good year so far, 2nd in the China Open, 3rd in the Sicilian Open and 7th in the Spanish Open, and has yet to miss a cut this year. He finished 3rd in this corresponding tournament last year where he played terrific matchplay golf, this guy is always improving, and if able to produce the golf he produced last year, he would be no 16/1 shot in my eyes.
